For the first time ever, the Frenship High School One Act Play is moving on to compete in the State One Act Competition on May 1.

Frenship High School Junior Allie Bennett placed third at the Regional Wrestling Competition on April 17, earning her ticket to the State Wrestling Tournament this weekend in Cypress.

Last week, Frenship hosted the District 2-6A Tennis Tournament. Frenship Boys Doubles Lucas Adams and Coleman Lewis took third place and Frenship Boys Singles Caleb Lambert took third place.

The FHS Girls and Boys Track teams competed at the Area Track Meet in Odessa last Friday. The Girls team took home second place overall and will advance to the Regional Track meet this weekend at UT Arlington.

The Tigers pulled out three wins last weekend and early this week against Odessa Permian, Midland Lee, and Abilene High School.

Frenship High School sent five students to compete at the State level at the Family, Career & Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) State Conference this month.

Frenship High School’s Career and Technical Education program students competed in the Health Occupations Students of America (HOSA) Area and State level competitions last month, and for the first time ever, FHS Pharmacy Technician students had a 100% pass rate on their National Certification exam.

Students in Heather Walker’s second grade class at Upland Heights and in Lorrie Crain’s Virtual Learning Pre-Kindergarten class at Westwind have become published authors this year.

The Frenship High School FFA Dairy Cattle and Veterinarian Medicine teams competed at the Area competition last Monday and Tuesday.

Digital Citizenship is a concept that teaches our students how to use technology appropriately; similar to teaching kids to be good citizens. This month, students across the District, are learning about Relationships and Communication.
