The Frenship Foundation for Leadership is proud to award 66 Frenship High School seniors with Character Scholarships totaling $92,400, marking the largest number of students and largest amount awarded in a single semester since the nonprofit was founded.
This week, Frenship ISD partnered with the Rotary Club of Lubbock for the annual Winter Food Backpack program where more than 600 backpacks were filled with food to help feed Frenship families during the holiday break.
Saundra Wimberley, a Crestview Elementary first-grade teacher, has been named the Texas Outstanding Elementary Teacher of the Year by the Texas Council for the Social Studies, TXCSS. This prestigious award is only given to one elementary teacher across the state each year for their exceptional impact on the field of social studies.
