Last Saturday, the Academic Decathlon team at Frenship High School competed in the Lubbock Invitational Academic Decathlon meet winning second place overall.

Frenship ISD is proud to announce Westwind Elementary kindergarten teacher Zachariah Vega has been selected as a distinguished educator and finalist for the Lubbock Christian University Award for Excellence in Teaching.

Several members of the Frenship High School Volleyball team were honored with All-District awards earlier this week for their work in the 2021 season.

The Frenship Boys Basketball team is set to take on Midland Greenwood on Saturday, November 13 at 2:00 p.m.

Last week, the Frenship Girls Basketball team faced off against Canyon Randall and defeated them 59-48. On Tuesday, the Tigers took on the #1 ranked Canyon Lady Eagles and pulled out the tough win 50-49.

On Wednesday, November 11, National Signing Day, 15 Frenship High School student athletes signed their National Letters of Intent to play collegiate athletics.

After a season of ups and downs, the Tigers secured the win against the Odessa High Broncos last Friday night 63-42.

Last week Frenship High School's 11 Ready Set Teach students attended Region 17's EduCon, an education & training conference geared toward high school students who want to pursue a career in education.

This week the Superintendent's Student Advisory Board met to create blankets that they will donate to Lubbock's University Medical Center to be used by patients in the Cancer Center.

After preparing this years show "Icon" since early August, the hard work and dedication of the Frenship High School Marching Band has paid off. After winning the Area A Marching Contest last weekend the band is advancing to the UIL State Marching competition on Monday.
