The Frenship boys and girls basketball teams both defeated Midland High School and Odessa Permian to remain undefeated in District.

Frenship students across the middle schools and high school took home over 80 awards from the West Texas Regional Scholastic Art Competition.

During a recent awards gala, the Lubbock Chamber of Commerce and Young Professionals of Lubbock awarded Tiffany Taylor, Frenship ISD's Director of Communications and Community Engagement, with the Top 20 Under 40 Leadership Award.

The #8 ranked Tigers won all three of their matches in the Governor's Cup Tournament in Georgetown, TX.

Both Frenship boys and girls wrestling beat West Plains in team victories, and girls wrestling finished dual season with a school-record number of wins. Vincent Sandoval becomes school's first Century Club member with 100 wins.

On January 23, the Texas High School Coaches Association (THSCA) announced the first-ever football regional Coach of the Year Awards, naming Frenship’s Jay Northcutt as the Region 1–6A Football Coach of the Year.

Set to open in August of 2023, Frenship ISD’s newest school now has a name. During the January 19 school board meeting, the Frenship ISD Board of Trustees approved the name for the fourth middle school as Alcove Trails Middle School. The Board of Trustees also approved the new 2023-2024 middle school attendance boundaries.

Both the boy's and girl's basketball teams played and beat the Midland Legacy Rebels in home district match-ups.

The Frenship powerlifting team competed in their first meet of the season, with the boys coming in second overall and the girls coming in eighth.
