Frenship High School Unified Track teammates Blakeley Martin and Justin Broaddus were recently selected to serve on the Regional Youth Leadership Committee for the Texas Special Olympics West Region.

This month’s theme for Mental Health Minute is Gratitude. As a component of the 2021 Strategic Plan Initiative, the goal of the Mental Health Minute is to spread awareness of mental health across Frenship ISD.

The Frenship High School Boys Golf Team has been staying busy. The Tigers recently competed in the 2024 Far West Texas Match Play in El Paso and the San Angelo Boys Classic. Coach Andrew Correll is proud of the team’s hard work.

Three Frenship High School students qualified for the UIL State Congressional Debate Tournament and will head to the Texas Capitol in January to put their skills to the test.

Frenship students across the district observed Veterans Day through various events and displays to honor those who have served in the armed forces. Veterans were celebrated for their unwavering dedication and service to our country.

The Frenship High School Volleyball team recently wrapped up their season. Coach Amy Mangum is very proud of what the Tigers accomplished and the records they broke.

This week Frenship High School hosted its first signing of the 2024-2025 school year. A total of 13 Tigers signed to play at the collegiate level after graduation. Congratulations, students!

Frenship ISD is proud to announce Frenship High School STEM teacher James Holloway has been selected as a 2024-2025 Lubbock Area Distinguished Educator and finalist for the Lubbock Christian University Excellence in Teaching Award.

This past week, Jasiah Reyes, an 8th grade student at Terra Vista Middle School, had the unique opportunity to paint a Christmas tree ornament that will be displayed at the Texas State Capitol. The Frenship artwork will be proudly showcased on the Capitol Christmas tree, representing both Frenship pride and Texas spirit for all to see throughout the holiday season.

Frenship ISD is proud to announce that Shana Biddison, a Kindergarten Teacher at Oak Ridge Elementary, and Russ Fulbright, a Broadcast Media Teacher at Frenship Middle School, were both awarded with the October Mrs. Baird's Teachers on the Rise award. These educators were nominated for their devotion to teaching.
