This week 34 Frenship High School students participated in Job Shadow Day to gain insight into future career opportunities. By partnering with professionals in the community, these students explored their fields through hands-on and engaging experiences that enhanced their career exposure and awareness.

Frenship ISD is excited to announce the hiring of Jason Cooper as the Frenship Memorial High School Girls Athletic Coordinator and Head Girls Basketball Coach. Cooper joins the Frenship family with an impressive coaching record and numerous awards that span 26 years in high school and collegiate athletics.

On Wednesday night, the Frenship ISD Board of Trustees unanimously approved naming Scott Sims as the new Frenship ISD Executive Director of Administrative Services beginning the 2025-2026 school year.

The Frenship High School Theatre masterfully balanced tradition and change in their show-stopping production of Fiddler on the Roof. With breathtaking cultural richness and intricate dancing, this performance is a testament to the hard work put in both on and off the stage.

Two students in the Family, Career, and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) program are now headed to state after a successful regional competition. These Tigers will go on to represent Frenship next month at state in the public policy advocate category and leadership category.

This month’s theme for Mental Health Minute is Resilience. As a component of the 2021 Strategic Plan Initiative, the goal of the Mental Health Minute is to spread awareness of mental health across Frenship ISD.

Last weekend, the Frenship High School One Act Play team took center stage at the district competition, delivering a standout performance that earned them the district trophy along with five individual awards.

At the recent Regional VASE Art Contest, Frenship High School had a fantastic showing, with 9 works of art that qualify for state. These Frenship artist will travel to San Marcos at the end of April to compete against student artists from all over Texas.

The Frenship High School Boys Basketball Team has concluded a fantastic season. Head Coach Paul Page shares that this season was one of the most memorable ones he’s ever coached at Frenship.
