The Girls Varsity Track and Field Team clinched their second consecutive Area Championship while Boys Varsity Team came in second at Area. The Tigers now look ahead to the 6A Region 1 Track Meet where more than two dozen Tigers will compete.

Frenship Independent School District is excited to announce Amy Mangum as the new Frenship High School head volleyball coach beginning the 2023-2024 school year. Mangum brings a wealth of experience to the position, having spent a combined 22 years coaching at the high school and junior high levels in west Texas.

This week, the Girls Varsity Golf Team and two members of the Boys Varsity Golf Team traveled to Grand Prairie to compete in the 6A Region 1 Regional Tournament. The Girls Team rounded out their season coming in 12th in the Region while the Frenship Boys had a Tiger place in the 20 individually.

Varsity Baseball now sits at 20-9 in their overall season record and 7-3 in district after sweeping the Odessa Permian Panthers in last week's series. The Tigers will wrap up their district play against Odessa High this weekend and San Angelo Central next week.

For a second year in a row, the Frenship High School Unified Track and Field team clinched the West Regional Unified Track and Field Championship. This win will also mark their second consecutive State appearance in the program's three-year history.

The Tigers found their way back into the District 2-6A top spot after a win against the Odessa Permian Panthers on April 14. That victory was followed by another win against the Odessa High Bronchos on April 18 as the team celebrated Senior Night for their last home game of the regular season.

This Saturday, April 22, Frenship is hosting a Wellness Walk from 2:00 - 4:00 p.m. at the Peoples Bank Stadium.
