For the second time in three years, the Frenship girls soccer team is heading to the Class 6A Region I Tournament after a thrilling, come from behind 2-1 victory versus El Paso Franklin.

Frenship softball outscored their opponents last week by a combined score of 50-1 in three games to remain unbeaten in district play and atop the standings.

The Frenship High School Latin Club competed in the Texas State Junior Classical League Convention at Anderson High School in Austin last weekend and came home 6th overall in the lower division.

Those were the words of boys’ golf coach Dan McDonald after the Tigers claimed their second consecutive District 2-6A title last week.

It was a bi-district sweep for the Frenship Tiger soccer programs last Thursday afternoon as both the boys and girls claimed a first-round win and championship trophy in dominating fashion.

Dominant pitching and timely hitting has been the recipe for success this season for FHS softball. Last week, the recipe worked again as the Tigers swept two more district games.

Frenship baseball split a pair of games with Odessa High last week and remains atop the standings in District 2-6A.

The Frenship Academic UIL traveled to Odessa last Friday and Saturday for the district competition and came home with the District Sweepstakes trophy (a win by more than 100 points).

Frenship High School and Ninth Grade Center Choir had five choirs participate in UIL Concert and Sight Reading Evaluation. Based on each ensemble’s ratings in concert and sight reading, Frenship choirs were all awarded Sweepstakes.
