Frenship High School Senior Peyton McCloud is a recipient of the Army National Scholarship from the Texas Tech Reserve Officers' Training Corps (ROTC) for more than $67,000. Peyton says that he is thankful to receive this highly competitive scholarship.

These Frenship High School students are typically behind the scenes, but now they'll take center stage as they advance to the State UIL Theatrical Design Contest later this month to show off their design skills for the set, makeup, costumes, and marketing plans.

Last weekend, 11 Frenship art students competed in the State Visual Art Scholastic Event (VASE) in San Marcos, with seven Frenship students' artworks receiving a Rating IV - Exemplary and a state medal.

Frenship High School’s Lonnie Kuss and Wesley Havens have had the special opportunity of helping coach discus record holders 42 years apart. Up until this season, Coach Kuss had his hand in the 1982 women’s discus school record. His stepson Coach Havens had an athlete this season break that record.

Frenship ISD Dining highlights and recognizes staff members for going above and beyond at their campus with a new Chef's Shout Out recognition program. This past week the cafeteria staff at Legacy Elementary earned the Chef’s Hat as a token of Aramark's appreciation for doing exemplary work.

The Frenship High School Softball Team had a successful round of games against El Paso Eastlake last week, making them the Bi-District Champions. Starting today the Tigers will be competing in the Area Playoff Round against Keller Timber Creek.

Earlier this week, Frenship High School senior Hunter Welch competed at the Boys State Golf Tournament in Georgetown. Head Boys Golf Coach Andrew Correll is proud of Welch’s performance and hard work in the program.

After taking down the San Angelo Central Bobcats last week, the Tigers are advancing to the Bi-District Playoff round. Head Coach Chad Reynolds is looking forward to the matchup against El Paso Montwood.

Last night, Frenship High School senior Jesenia Rosillo was recognized for earning the Seal of Biliteracy. Rosillo has studied and attained proficiency in two or more languages by high school graduation.

This past week the Frenship Unified Track Team competed at the State Unified Meet in Austin. While there, the Tigers competed against the top 15 teams across the State and proudly brought home the bronze medal.
