Frenship opened their spring slate on their home turf hosting the Frenship Invitational over two days at Reese Golf Center and Rawls Golf Course. The Tigers improved on their opening round shooting a team best 331 to move up three spots into third place behind Lubbock-Cooper and Amarillo High.

The Tiger boys golf team won every tournament they competed in through the Fall, with strong performances across the entire team including senior Logan Vargas, a University of Houston signee, and freshman Hunter Welch who steadily grew into a top competitor through the fall.

The FHS Ninth Grade Center will host a 2021-2022 Course Fair for all incoming 9th graders on February 18.

During the month of February, designated as Career and Technical Education (CTE) Month, Frenship ISD is excited to recognize the highly successful CTE program that is shaping Frenship students’ futures.

Frenship Soccer played Permian and Midland Lee. Both programs travel to Abilene to take on Abilene High on Friday, February 5.

On Saturday, February 6, more than 1,000 free boxes of fresh produce, meat, and dairy products will be available for children and families in Lubbock County.

On Wednesday, February 3, 10 FHS student athletes signed their National Letters of Intent to play collegiate athletics.

Frenship Boys Varsity Basketball (18-4, 9-0) defeated the Odessa High Broncos 77-66. Frenship Girls Varsity Basketball (19-5, 10-1) dominated the Odessa High Lady Broncos winning 73-33.

Frenship Varsity Baseball takes on Lubbock-Cooper Saturday, February 6 in a scrimmage at Lubbock-Cooper High School.

Last weekend the Tiger Powerlifting team traveled to Snyder to compete in the Snyder Invitational Powerlifting Meet.
