Monday night during their monthly meeting, the Frenship ISD Board of Trustees recognized 58 Frenship High School students who were recognized as Advanced Placement Scholars for the 2017-2018 academic year.  The AP Scholar Awards Program recognizes students who have demonstrated college-level achievement through AP courses and exams.

Students earned recognition in one of three academic categories:

AP Scholar with Distinction, an honor granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.5 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on five or more of these exams.

Students receiving this recognition included Marshall Chapman, Tyson Cluff, William Cooley, Guillermo Ibarra, Zachary Sims, Theodore Spencer, Abigayle Stevens, Jansen Stevens

AP Scholar with Honor, granted to students who receive an average score of at least 3.25 on all AP Exams taken, and scores of 3 or higher on four or more of these exams.

These students included Clara Baker, Nathan Broyles, Mason Cunningham, Charles Dabbs, Miller Hardy, Dara Mahoney, Katrina Matilac, Katie Myers, Cora Rasmussen, Coleman Todd

AP Scholar, a recognition granted to students who receive scores of 3 or higher on three or more AP Exams.
