Frenship ISD Welcomes New Head and Lead Staff Members for Frenship High School and Frenship Memorial High School

As Frenship ISD continues to grow, so does the opportunity to build strong foundations of excellence across both Frenship High School and Frenship Memorial High School. This month, the District is proud to announce a new group of leaders who are stepping into key roles across Fine Arts, Agriculture, and Athletics. 

From returning faces to passionate professionals joining from across the state, these new team members are ready to lead and inspire students with energy, experience, and a commitment to excellence.

FRENSHIP HIGH SCHOOL 

ATHLETICS 
  • Head Wrestling Coach: Harley DiLulo, a Tiger since 2022, is stepping into the role of Frenship High School head wrestling coach after serving as an assistant for wrestling and track. He takes over following a record-breaking season with 22 regional qualifiers, two of which qualified for state. He is ready to lead the program to even greater success. 
AG/FFA 
  • Lead Agricultural Sciences Teacher and FFA Advisor: Angela VanGundy brings 13 years of experience in agricultural science education, including ag mechanics and industry-based certifications, with four years at Frenship High School. A graduate of Texas A&M–Commerce with a bachelor’s in Ornamental Horticulture and a master’s in Agricultural Education, she is dedicated to growing strong programs and helping students thrive in both the classroom and through FFA. 

FRENSHIP MEMORIAL HIGH SCHOOL 

FINE ARTS 
  • Lead Orchestra Director: Paige Braly is a talented educator from Midland, Texas. She earned both her bachelors and masters degrees in music education from Texas Tech University. With five years of experience teaching in the Texas Tech String Project and strong community ties in Lubbock, she is the perfect person to launch Frenship Memorial’s orchestra program.

ATHLETICS 

  • Head Softball Coach: Roxanne Curiel is a familiar face in Frenship, having served as an assistant coach at Frenship High School for the past four years. With head coaching experience in Corpus Christi, her commitment and connection to the community make her the perfect fit to lead Memorial’s softball program. 
  • Head Tennis Coach: Brandon Justiss brings extensive experience from Frisco ISD, having opened and built two successful tennis programs. A former McMurry University player and current Terra Vista Middle School head tennis coach, he’s now set to launch the Memorial tennis program with energy and excellence. 
  • Head Boys Soccer Coach: Michael von Ende-Becker is currently the head coach at Lubbock High School. Coach von Ende-Becker brings valuable experience coaching both boys and girls soccer, collegiate playing time at McMurry University, and club coaching expertise. He holds a master’s degree in mathematics and is ready to lead Memorial’s soccer program. 
  • Head Girls Soccer Coach: Madison Martin is joining us from Abilene Wylie, where she led her team to the playoffs every year. A former Texas Tech and Hardin-Simmons soccer player, she brings collegiate coaching experience and a strong record of success. Her passion for the sport and commitment to excellence make her an outstanding leader for the Panthers. 
  • Head Volleyball Coach: Whitney Gibson is coming to us from Levelland ISD, where she was named Coach of the Year in 2022. Her program earned back-to-back district championships (2022–2023), and she’s now bringing her winning spirit and leadership to Memorial.
