The Boys Golf 6A State Championship is not an easy competition. Frenship High School senior Hunter Welch was the only Frenship Tiger to compete at State. Over two days, Welch shot a 77-80-157 at the Championship.
“It wasn’t what he set out to do but just to qualify for the State Championships is still a tremendous feat,” said Head Boys Golf Coach Andrew Correll. “Hunter has been a great contributor to Tiger golf for all four years at Frenship High School and will continue to grow as a player at Midland College. He will be missed in our program.”
Great work, Hunter Welch! We are proud of you!
