Frenship Unified Coach, Kayci Smith, has seen the impact of Unified on students and how participating in the program can create lasting relationships.

“Unified Sports creates unique teammate bonds through sports experiences just like any other sports team. These experiences create a culture of inclusion and foster understanding in schools and communities,” said Coach Smith. “Participation in Unified Sports leads to new friendships, improved self‑esteem and positive changes in attitude, behavior and performance for all students involved and our school and community. Specifically, Frenship Unified Track has created a lasting impact on all those participating and fosters true friendships that last beyond their high school years.”

Up next for Unified Track is the Area Meet on April 3. More details to come.
