Girls Basketball Has Record-Breaking Season

The Tigers had a record-setting year! The Girls Basketball Team set the records for most wins (33) fewest losses (4), best winning percentage (89%), longest winning-streak (18 games), most points scored in a single game (98 vs EL Paso Coronado), most points per game average (70.4) and best field goal percentage for a season (48%).

“We had tremendous leadership this year and a team that was truly a team. They worked together so well and were such a fun team to coach and watch,” said Trent Hilliard, Head Girls Basketball Coach.

There were also several individual records set this season as well. Abbi Holder set the record for most points in a career at 1451. Abby Boyce set the record for most rebounds in a career (1164) and most rebounds in a season (366).  Boyce also joined the 1000-point club with 1024 points in her career. Addisyn Bollinger set the record for most points in a season (596), most 3-pointers made in a season (83) and most field goals made in a season (233).

Ultimately, success is measured not just by the scoreboard, but by the progress made, the memories created, and the positive impact on each player's journey. The Tigers deeply resonated with that statement as they were named Area Champions on Friday, February 16 against Crowley, then wrapped up the season in the Regional Quarterfinals against Southlake Carroll on Tuesday, February 20.
