The Girls Basketball team has had quite an impressive season. The Tigers celebrated their 8th consecutive District title this week. Frenship has won 15 District Titles in its history: 1966, 1967, 1995, 2004, 2009, 2010, 2014, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, 2023, and 2024.
The Tigers also set the school record for 31 wins in a season. The previous record of 30 was achieved in 2018, 2019, and 2020. The 2019 team had the best record of 30-5, which will be broken this season as well with this team currently at 31-3.
Bringing the Tigers to their 8th District title was two back-to-back block-out games against Odessa High and Midland Legacy. The Tigers beat the Odessa High Bronchos, 70-30, and the Midland Legacy Rebels, 77-41.

Up next on the Tiger's agenda is the Bi-District Championship. The Girls will face El Paso Pebble Hills on Tuesday, February 13 at 3:30 p.m. at Fort Stockton High School.
