Tiger Volleyball Defeats Legacy but Falls to San Angelo

The Tigers are playing through the District season with confidence, calmness, and courage. Head Volleyball Coach Amy Mangum is continuing to remind the athletes that it’s not about how you start, but how you finish.

“Some of our key components so far have been recovering from being down in matches and coming back strong. We have talked about staying positive and having a reset when things aren’t going as smoothly as we would like! We will continue to work to get better at that,” said Coach Mangum.

San Angelo Central and the Tigers are both sitting at a 5-1 record for District. The match-up against the Bobcats was a hard fight, but after coming up short, the team is feeling even more fired up for the remainder of the season.

“We need to work on recovering quickly when quick changes must be made. We have had great practices since Tuesday, and I feel like we are encouraged to step up our game a little bit and continue to improve in our second half of district,” said Coach Mangum.
