Tiger Volleyball is the Only Undefeated 6-A School in the District Season

The Tigers are leading the way in the District season, their current record is 28-8 (non-district) and 4-0 (district). Head Volleyball Coach Amy Mangum is encouraging the team to stay level-headed and continue to give every match their best.

“We are excited to be leading the district! But we are looking to stay steady and work hard to stay at the top of the district standings. We need to continue to prepare one match at a time! Every night will be a battle,” said Coach Mangum.

“All four schools did a great job of cheering us on and being amazing fans,” said Coach Mangum.

Up next, the Tigers travel to Midland on Friday, October 6, to face Midland Legacy. The Rebels are currently trailing behind Frenship with a 3-1 district record so far.

“For this match, we are preparing by learning from what we did and did not do well when we played them in the Frenship tournament. We have been watching film of Legacy to help us see what they do well as a team and how we can combat that,” said Coach Mangum.
