Tennis Takes Down Coronado 13-6

The Tigers played well during their August 15 matchup against the Mustangs. “It was a fun match, and we played a format that is similar to our district format of pro-set for doubles and 2 out of 3 for singles, so it was great to see our Tigers get a win that can help prepare us for upcoming district play,” said Shelby May, Frenship High School Assistant Tennis Coach.

The Tigers scored 4-3 in Double play. Up only one point, the Tigers new they had to make up some ground in Singles. In Singles action, the boys won four of the six matches, and the girls team won five of the six.

The Tigers will head to Lubbock-Cooper for their next matchup on August 29 at 4 p.m.
