During the District Tournament earlier this season, the Boys Doubles duo of Caleb Lambert and Carson Smith along with the Girls Doubles team of Allison Lent and Lauren McCombs placed second to advance to the 6A Region 1 Tournament in McKinney. This was the first time to play in spring regionals for both teams.

At the regional competition, Lambert and Smith played Forth Worth Boswell and won in three sets, going 4-6, 6-2, 6-4 before falling to a very good Allen team. 

The Girls Doubles team of Lent and McCombs played hard before falling to SouthLake Carroll.

“Our coaching staff is so proud of everything these athletes have accomplished this year, and we want to congratulate these Tigers on a great spring 2023 season,” said Tennis Coach Shelby May.
