Frenship Baseball Starts District Play with a Series Win

Game 1: 7-1 Win

In game one against Legacy, Frenship had a strong start, leading the Tigers to a 7-1 victory. The Tigers scored on a double by Blaine Chancy and a triple by Brooks Roberson in the second inning.

The Tigers notched four runs in the fifth inning. Landon Hutcheson, Brady Boles, Nano Mendoza, and Ethan Curbo each had RBIs in the frame. Nick Blevins was the winning pitcher, allowing two hits and one run over seven innings, striking out four.

Boles led Frenship Tigers Varsity with three hits in four at bats.

Game 2: 12-5 Loss

The Tigers watched the game slip away early and couldn't recover in a 12-5 loss to Legacy on Friday. The Tigers struggled to put runs on the board and had a tough time defensively containing the Rebels, giving up 12 runs.

Tiger Holden Phillips singled on a 2-1 count, scoring one run. Frenship hit one home run on the day, wthi Nano Mendoza going deep in the fourth inning.

Game 3: 6-1 Win

The Tigers ran off with the lead late in game three in a 6-1 victory over Legacy on Saturday.  The game was tied at one with Frenship batting in the bottom of the fifth when Holden Phillips singled on the first pitch of the at bat, scoring one run.

Brooks Roberson was on the hill for Frenship, allowing five hits and one run while striking out eight and walking zero.

The Tigers racked up eight hits in the game. Carson Heise and Phillips each collected two hits to lead the Tigers. The Tigers were sure handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Hudson Hutcheson had the most chances in the field with eight.
