This past Monday and Tuesday, the Frenship Girls Blue and Gold Golf teams competed in the District Tournament at the Lakeridge Country Club. The Blue team shot a two-day total of 724 to finish behind Midland Legacy and will continue to regionals. Kara Knight paced the Tigers with an 84 on the last day for a 2-day total of 172 and finished 4th individually.  Melanie Jones and Yamila Kuchta shot 2-day totals of 175 and 181 respectively to round out the Blue team members who finished in the top 10.

The Frenship Gold team shot a two-day total of 789 to finish 4th in the team standings.  The Gold team was led by Dayna Keeling who shot a 2-day total of 178 and finished in the top 10.  Keeling also qualified for the Regional Tournament because she finished in the top 2 of individuals who were not on an advancing team.

The Regional Tournament will be held in Grand Prairie on April 17-18.
