Frenship Baseball Compete in Central Texas First Pitch Classic

On day one, the Tigers started the tournament with an 8-3 victory over San Antonio Brandies. The Tigers opened up scoring in the first inning when Landon Hutcheson hit a solo homer. Ryland Morin was the winning pitcher, and the Tigers had 12 hits in the game with Hutcheson, Brooks Roberson, and Blaine Chancy each getting multiple hits. Roberson led the Tigers with three hits in four at bats.

Frenship saw another victory on day three. The Tigers ran off with the lead late in the game in a 14-4 victory over L.D. Bell. The game was tied at four with the Tigers batting in the bottom of the fourth when Hudson Hutcheson doubled on a 2-0 count, scoring one run.

Landon Hutcheson was the winning pitcher, allowing six hits and four runs over four innings, and striking out three. Brady Boles threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen. The Tigers scattered 14 hits in the game. Boles, Ethan Curbo, Carson Heise, and Blaine Chancy each racked up multiple hits. Curbo led the Tigers with four hits in four at bats.
