Kirkpatrick says he is excited to represent Frenship and to serve the Region 17 area that spans across 20 counties and includes nearly 60 school districts. As the regional coordinator for TASSP, Kirkpatrick will help run regional meetings, attend professional development workshops, and support other school district administrators throughout the school year.
As the coordinator, he will also have the opportunity to team up with other school administrators to share and learn ways to engage students and grow as a leader.
“This organization provides valuable opportunities, resources, and the tools needed to be a successful and effective leader in education,” said Kirkpatrick. “I am excited to see what this year brings, and what great ideas I can bring back to Frenship by collaborating with my fellow campus administrators across the South Plains.”
Kirkpatrick is no stranger to this role. He held the TASSP Region 16 Coordinator title during his time at Childress High School.
Kirkpatrick will be working closely with Lubbock ISD’s Marti Makuta who is serving as the TASSP Region 17 Assistant Coordinator.
