Frenship High School Unified Track Team Headed to Regionals

Unified Sports joins people with and without intellectual disabilities on the same team. It was inspired by a simple principle: training together and playing together is a quick path to friendship and understanding.

The athletes competed in tandem in the events of long jump, shot put,100 meter dash, 400 meter dash, and the 4 x 100 meter relay. Unified Track is an UIL sanctioned competition, in which Frenship had competed in two local meets before competing in the Area Meet on Tuesday.
