Ethan Martinez, 3rd place in weight class, totaling 980 pounds
Michael Garza, 5th place in weight class, totaling 900 pounds
Brayden Cortinaz, 3rd place in weight class, totaling 1120 pounds
Josh Ortiz, 4th place in weight class, totaling 1100 pounds
Karson Jones, 1st place in weight class, totaling 1535 pounds
Blaize Whitaker, 2nd place in weight class, totaling 1375 pounds
Joshua Rangel, 3rd place in weight class, totaling 1265
Frenship Powerlifting Head Coach Dusty Robinson added, "Other Tigers who contributed to the overall success of the day include: Reese Roberts, Mathew Landin, Colten Watts, Zach Long and Jack Corbin."
Girls Powerlifting
9th place overall out of 15 teams with only 4 lifters
Macy Olmos, 5th place in weight class, totaling 665 pounds
Faith Shagula, 2nd place in weight class, totaling 560 pounds
"Other ladies who contributed were Leandra Salazar and Claire McDonald," Robinson said. "The Tiger lifters had a great day! The competition was tough, and we fought hard to the very end, improving all our totals, and setting ourselves up for a chance to make the Regional Powerlifting meet."
The Tigers will be back in action on Thursday, February 24 at the Eagle Powerlifting Invitational at Roosevelt High School.
