In the first set, Frenship gave up a little ground to the Rebels, who broke free and scored the last six points, putting them ahead of the Tigers, 25-21.
The Tigers answered the call in set two when a kill by Addison McClure through off Midland's groove. Andrea Laughlin came in with two additional kills, putting the Tigers on top 25-23.
The third set started off neck and neck as the Tigers scored 10 unanswered points, but it wasn't enough for the Rebels, who took the third 25-18.
The fourth set was Frenship's last chance to stay in the match. They answered Legacy's third set win with another close call 25-23.
In the fifth and final set, Frenship came up a little short, giving Legacy six unanswered points to take the win, 15-13.
Overall it was a great contest for the Tigers. Hannah Lockett had 26 assists and Hope Rivera had 22. Maddie Brouillette had 24 digs on defense, followed by Devyn Nairn with 15 and Reagan Hanks with 14.
Frenship Volleyball will face Midland High tonight at the Tiger Pit at 6:00 p.m.
