Frenship Cross Country Competes at Regional Meet, Faith Zint Advances to State

District champion runner, Faith Zint finished 15th at the Regional 6A meet with a time of 19:58.20, to advance to the State cross country meet in Round Rock on November 24th.

“Faith is such a competitor and so much fun to watch. It has been awesome to see how she improves between meets," said Frenship Cross Country Coach Amanda Kirkpatrick. "When we run for time in practice, she prefers to run with the boys because it challenges her so much. Of course, I am all about what makes her better. I look forward to seeing what she can do at the State meet against the highest level of competition.”

The girls team finished 12th overall with a team average time of 22:04.70.

Collin Turley finished in the Regional 6A boy’s race with a time of 18:15.70 and Jalon Jackson finished with a time of 18:22.10.
