Frenship Cross Country Comes Out on Top at LCU as they Prepare for District Meet

At the LCU Chap Invitational the Varsity girls team tied for with win with Permian. They had a notable score of 48 points. Audrey Allen medaled placing 5th individually. Devin Moore and Amaya Mendoza both finished in the top ten.

The JV girls team finished 2nd overall with a team score of 56 points. Jordan Matus medaled placing 2nd individually with a time of 13:45 for the two-mile run.

The Varsity boys team finished with a team total of 64 points and third overall at the meet. The Tigers were led by Collin Turley who finished with a time of 17:45.80 for the 5K.

The JV boys dominated taking 1st place overall with an impressive team score of 20 points, outscoring the second place Andrews team by 23 points. The JV boys team was lead by Matthew Jones who finished 2nd, Ethan Regalado who finished 3rd, and Dalen Gualdoni who finished 4th, topping it off with Nathan Armstrong and Ryan Cluff finishing in the top ten.

Frenship Cross Country will be back in action Saturday, October 24 in Canyon, TX. Their District meet will be held on Thursday, October 29 at UTPB in Odessa.
