Fifteen Frenship High School Students are advancing to the Area competition for the FFA Leadership Development Events. These students secured their spot after outstanding performances during the District competition hosted by Frenship ISD on November 11th.
Approximately 250 FFA students from a dozen school districts across the South Plains, including 43 students from Frenship, converged at the Frenship Casey Administration Building to compete in events meant to strengthen the students’ leadership skills.
The competitions range from speaking skills such as Creed Speaking, FFA Radio Broadcasting and Public Relations to decision making events like Agricultural Issues Forum, Chapter Conducting, Chapter Agriculture Quiz and Job Interview.
Frenship FFA students placed second in four of the Leadership Development Events and will now compete in the Area competition scheduled for November 23rd at West Texas A&M.
