Frenship Tennis and Cross Country Make Great Strides

Frenship Tennis has hit the ground running and finds themselves in the catbird seat in District 2-6A with a 17-2 win over Odessa High and an 18-2 victory over Odessa Permian. Frenship owned every match in Boys Singles, Boys Doubles, Girls Doubles, and Mixed Doubles on the day. 

 

Cross Country

Frenship Cross Country has literally hit the ground running after a strong showing at the Lubbock Coaches Meet at Mae Simmons Park on Saturday, September 7. The Tigers took 5th on the day in what is a warmup meet for area schools. Zach Martinez and Collin Turley took 11th and 16th respectively with times of 17:50.01 and 18:25.14. On the girls side, Emma Lopez finished 4th with a time of 21:21.50. Audrey Allen and Melina Bustos both broke into the Top 10 with times of 21:40.84 and 21:42.81. 

 

The Tigers will be back in action on Saturday, September 14 in Amarillo at the Tascosa Rebel Run.
