Eighteen of Frenship High School’s finest students competed last weekend at the the Region I Family, Career and Community Leaders of America (FCCLA) competition in Odessa. At the end of the day, nine Frenship teams qualified for state. Here are the specific awards each of our students took home:
Cupcake Battle: Eden Saldaña, 1st place
Mystery Basket: Rachel Starr, 2nd place
Serving Up Success: Taegan Woods, 1st place
Career Investigation: Syndey Todd, 4th place
Focus on Children: Sara Mousavi, Audry Vaughn, Carissa Quintanilla, 1st place
National Programs in Action: Brooke Pugh, Reagan Erculiani, 1st place
Promote and Publicize: Alaina Golightly, Hannah Geilhausen, Bri Contreras, 1st place
Recycle and Redesign-Senior Category: Kaytlynn Nairn, 3rd place
Recycle and Redesign-Occupational Category: Marissa Robillard, 1st place
The FCCLA State Leadership Conference is scheduled for April 4-6 in Dallas.
