This week, Frenship ISD partnered with the Rotary Club of Lubbock for the annual Winter Food Backpack program where more than 600 backpacks were filled with food to help feed Frenship families during the holiday break.
Saundra Wimberley, a Crestview Elementary first-grade teacher, has been named the Texas Outstanding Elementary Teacher of the Year by the Texas Council for the Social Studies, TXCSS. This prestigious award is only given to one elementary teacher across the state each year for their exceptional impact on the field of social studies.
On September 22, Frenship ISD hosted a ribbon cutting to celebrate the official opening of Frenship’s newest campus and second high school, Frenship Memorial High School. The ribbon cutting also marked a historic moment as Frenship celebrates its 90th birthday.
