Hello and welcome to the Frenship Ninth Grade Center for the 2023-2024 school year. This is my fourth year at the NGC, but I will be going into my 23rd year in education. I have been a ninth grade English teacher for most of these years simply because I love teaching freshmen students!

 

Please look over the information on this page. You will find information concerning the summer reading assignment if you lost the page from registration. I have also already put up a listing of the necessary supplies fo this year as well as a list of the needed reading materials for those enrolled in the Pre-AP English I course.

Want to get schools supplies and books for Pre-AP taken care of? Well, here is the list of items needed for this year:

 

1. 5-subject Five Star spiral (this brand is suggested since it can create flashcards over notes)

2. College-ruled notebook paper

3. Blue or black ink pens (written work will be completed in pen NOT pencil)

4. Lined note cards (3x5 or 4x6)

5. Access to colored pencils

6. Wired headphones or earbuds

7. Two-pocket folder with brads (will be provided to you unless you want your own)
