Dear Parents,

Hola todos! My name is Zenia Hicks and I will be your child's Spanish I teacher. I've been a Frenship Tiger since 2016! I’m originally from Lubbock, Texas and received my Bachelor’s Degree in Spanish at Texas Tech University with a minor in Human Development and Family Studies. I also attended Southern Methodist University and Wayland Baptist University and currently attending Lamar University. I taught four years in Dallas ISD and was also a track coach, in Center Point ISD I taught not only Spanish I, II, III, and III AP but I was also the Journalism and Yearbook teacher. In Lubbock ISD I taught for three years and was also the Cheer coach. 

My family is originally from Ojinaga, Chihuahua, México. I have two sweet tots at home, a little girl and a little boy. When I'm not at work, I absolutely love playing with my babies, spending time with friends, reading, attending church and I also enjoy working out. My husband and I both are NPC competitors and are personal fitness trainers. Every summer we travel to California and Ojinaga, Chihuahua, México to visit my relatives.
